ABS is distinguished from other body repairers because we hand-pick highly experienced and qualified technical staff, use state-of the art equipment and technology as well as repair your vehicle to international quality standards. A technical team of experienced managers and technicians ensure that damaged vehicles trusted to our care are not just repaired, they are also restored to original factory specifications.
- Accurate damage diagnosis: Thanks to our technical expertise and expert software, we’re able to diagnose the extent of damage to your vehicle precisely. Our diagnostics team is required to have a minimum of 10 years of expert diagnosis experience in each specific field. World-class Audatex software enables us to evaluate any model of vehicle expertly and prompts our technicians to check consequential damage to any other model-specific parts and systems likely to have been caused by the primary damage – ensuring we identify macro and micro damage to your vehicle first-time.
- Top quality bodywork: We disassemble your vehicle in order to thoroughly examine it for any damaged parts. Panels are carefully repaired through a quality pinning process to remove the dents, rather than fill them. In instances where the chassis is damaged, a Celette fixed jig system will be used to pull the chassis back to within 2mm of the original manufacturers spec. A Car-o-liner Vision 2000 software system is used to verify that the vehicle is correctly restored to factory specification. Where welding is used to rejoin damage panels a Metal Innate Gas [MIG] method is applied – ensuring that weld joints do not rust from within the weld point. Where spot welding is required, a state-of-the-art resistance spot welding process is used to ensure welding is precise and consistent. Highly skilled and experienced bodywork technicians are selected for bodywork restoration. [ABS requires technicians to have a minimum of 20 years experience to qualify for body restoration work.]
- Mechanical Repairs: Our expert mechanical repair technicians pride themselves on their high standards of mechanical and suspension repair. A rigorous quality control process ensures that repairs meet premium specification and that all bolts and nuts are torque wrenched to original factory standards. ABS employs state-of-the-art BMW KDS2 equipment to ensure your vehicles wheel alignment and balance is perfect.
- Paint work: ABS uses the most advanced paint system and curing equipment.  This ensures precise colour matching and a consistent finish. Glasurit paint is used, as its premium quality meets every vehicle manufacturer standards – and because it’s a water based paint that’s environmentally friendly. Paint is applied by experts using Sata and De Vilbiss German High tech machinery because the equipment ensures precise and consistent application and a high level of transfer efficiency.
- Electronics: A BMW GT1 is used by our highly skilled technicians to identify any electronic failures in your vehicle precisely. This equipment will be upgraded to a state-of-the-art Bosch system shortly. Quality assurance: Each vehicle entrusted to our care is quality assured through each phase of the repair and restoration process. An ABS quality check is a comprehensive one which includes bodywork, mechanical, paint and electronic evaluations as well as suspension, wheel alignment battery health and aircon gas checks. Our quality control process includes a quality control diagnostic print out and a full road test to ensure your vehicle meets original factory standards before the vehicle is returned, with pride, to you.
